Popular Beaches Inside And Outside Of Islip

Islip attracts swimmers, fishing fanatics, and surfers from the surrounding urban centers around it, for beach time fun particularly in summertime. The warm water currents keep the ocean at pleasant temperatures from early summer to fall. Bird watching and saltwater fishing are available on both the oceanside and the bayside areas.

Ocean Beach, Cherry Grove, Fire Island Pines, Bay Shore, Bohemia, Islandia, Ronkonkoma all harbor wonderful beaches that make Islip a much rushed destination when tourists want to flock to beach side resorts. Ocean Beach is in fact the so-called Capital of Fire Island.

A number of hotels near Ocean Beach make the sea side sojourn more comfortable. Once the water front activities are over visitors relax in the nearby hotels that are teeming with the summer rush.
